Meet Happy Organic. Happy helped the Magic Drawer Workshop hand out hundreds of healthy organic Adzuki bean seed packs at the Butter & Eggs day parade on Saturday in Petaluma, CA. Fresh from the Eco Beeps performance "Happy Birthday, Happy Earth Day" a week ago Saturday at the Petaluma Whole Foods stage, one of our puppeteers Anastasia Schuster and her son Nate donned puppets and walked the parade route with us. The parade route was about 11 miles long across some very rough terrain (cobblestone crosswalks & manhole covers). Wait, that seems a bit high. Oh right, it was 1 mile long, but when pulling an 80 pound art car made of reused materials with no steering, it seemed like 11 miles. Many thanks to everyone in the Whole Foods parade block and to Melissa Mueller for organizing.
We had a great, fun time, saw lots of friendly faces, and spread the green message to thousands.
